Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Day Program

Pay Rate: $15.60/hr

New Hire Sign-On Bonus $150

Hours: Monday - Friday day, part-time hours

As a Direct Support Professional in our community day program, you will be helping adults with intellectual and physical disabilities foster independence. You will be there every step of the way as our individuals gain valuable new skills. Work with a team of creative and reliable professionals to help our adults grow, learn, and connect with others in their community. It’s more than a career; it’s a fulfilling way of life.

Responsibilities include implementing goal plans, assisting with vocational, pre-vocational, social, and communication skills, personal care, and completing progress notes. Direct Support Professionals follow activity schedules and participate in interesting, growth-oriented in-facility activities, transport and accompany individuals on community outings, and complete additional position requirements unique to the facility.

Qualifications for Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Day Community:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
  • FBI fingerprint clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements.
